Pronounced: (kuhn-TUHR-muh-nuhs)
Adjective:
1. Sharing a common boundary.
2. Confined within one common boundary.
3. Having the same area, context, or meaning.
Examples:
“The property line is conterminous with a Federally protected wetland area, so be aware there may be restrictions on what you’ll be able to do in terms of improvements and landscaping.”
“Efforts around curb appeal and staging are often considered to be conterminous, as they both focus on improving the home’s appearance to prospective buyers.”
