“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
-From “Little Gidding” by T. S. Eliot, Poet, essayist, publisher, playwright, literary and social critic.
Well, we’re wrapping it up for 2018. Thank you to everyone who has continued to subscribe to Tuesday Tactics, and a special bit of gratitude to those of you who order your signs from Oakley Signs & Graphics. We appreciate your support, as do all the families who work hard every day to deliver high-quality signs to keep your brand and your listings looking their best.
While none of us know what 2019 will bring, I hope it brings us closer together. I hope for better discussions. I hope for greater honesty and greater stability. I hope we choose to lift one another up rather than build high fences. In other words, I hope we all become better neighbors.
You are, of course, central to this wish. Real estate is local. Local knowledge and local community. As a real estate pro, you have the capacity to make introductions, foster connections, and build the strong neighborhoods we all need as a foundation for a greater country and a greater planet at large.
So let’s watch our words in the new year. Let’s choose civility over division and faith instead of fear. We have within our reach all the tools we need.
Enjoy the last week of this year, and we look forward to serving you in 2019.
