Regular readers of Tuesday Tactics know that we’re big fans of leveraging technology to help us take control of our projects across all sectors of our lives, from the office to the weekend errand list.
One of our favorite approaches is David Allen‘s system, known as GTD for “Getting Things Done.” If you’re unfamiliar with his book of the same title, we highly recommend it. There are many apps and websites out there that help you organize your life around Allen’s system, but one of the newest entries into the mix is absolutely blissful.
“Nirvana” is built specifically for the GTD system and has everything you’d expect for quick and easy management of projects:
From the website:
“Nirvana is a secure, cloud-based GTD® task manager accessible from your desktop web browser and mobile devices. If you have more to do than you can manage in your head, or if you want greater clarity of mind and focus in life, Nirvana is for you.”
The system has superb support, great keyboard shortcuts, and works on many mobile platforms. You can manage up to 5 projects for free, and an unlimited premium membership is a mere $5 a month (or $39/year). Setup is a snap.
Nirvana gets our endorsement. Try it out yourself if you’re looking for a new project management tool:
