“So many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health. ”
Health ranks among the top of the list when it comes to new year’s resolutions. As we journey into the third week of 2013, I’m sure many of you are proud of the progress you’ve made so far pursuing your own goals, and I hope health is among them.
If you stick to your resolutions through this week, you’ll be venturing into the “habit forming” zone of three weeks, and some of the resistance you may feel will decrease.
Challenges are ahead, however. Along with health, wealth is also a big resolution. The paradox? The relentless pursuit of wealth can be toxic to your health.
In this week’s issue of Tuesday Tactics, we’d urge you to broaden your parameters of health and wealth, so that you can strike a mutually beneficial balance. Have you considered free time as wealth? Have you considered your mental well-being as health? Doesn’t learning something new contribute to both health and wealth?
Below you’ll find resources that contribute to both the narrow and the broad definitions of health and wealth. We’ll show you where to take free online courses in a range of useful subjects, how to lower your stress level by outsourcing to virtual assistants, and ways to make sure you keep your joints and nerves in top shape while you’re riding desk duty.
Here’s to both your health and your wealth this week, from Oakley Signs & Graphics.
