This week’s closing word: incommodious

1. Causing inconvenience or discomfort.
Synonyms:
inconvenient, uncomfortable, unhandy, comfortless
Example:
“The grand Edwardian house had been chopped up into makeshift apartments. Consider theincommodious location of the ground-floor studio’s toilet: You had to access it through the bedroom walk-in closet!”
(That’s what they call an incommodious commode!)
